Haryana Civil Services (HCS) & Allied Services Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for any of the above posts.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce or equivalent from a recognized Board / University / Institute.
Age Limit
The candidate (except for the post of DSP) should not be less than 18 years and not more than 42 years of age, on or before 01.01.2021. For the post of DSP, a candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years of age on or before 01.01.2021.
HCS Relaxation in Age based on Categories
The relaxation in maximum age for various categories is available as under:-

| Widowed or legally divorced women provided she has not remarried | 5 years |

| Ex-servicemen | to the extent of his military service added by three years provided –
(a) he has rendered continuous military service for a period of not less than six months before his release; and (b) he was released otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency. |
| Disabled persons who covered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 | 5 years (+5 years if candidates belong to SC/ST, B/Classes) subject to maximum 55 years for Group A & B posts where recruitment is made through open competitive examination.
Note : Relaxation in age limit shall be applicable irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved or not, provided the post is identified suitable for Persons with Disabilities. |

As per Haryana Police Service Rules, 2002, the Physical Standard For Deputy Superintendent of Police is as under:-

Nationality
For this Examination, a candidate must be either:-
- (a) a citizen of India, or
- (b) a subject of Nepal, or
- (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
- (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January,1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

How to Apply Online for Haryana Civil Services?
- Click on above Apply Link and click on new registration.
- Now, enter your name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Id and generate OTP.
- Enter OTP received on mobile. Tick mark on the Candidate Declaration. Click on Submit button and then on OK Alert button.
- Now, you will receive login id & password on your mobile number.
- Click on the ‘Go to Application Form’ available in top right corner.
- Now, enter your father & mother name, Nationality.
- If you belongs to Haryana state, then tick yes on domicile.
- Enter category, some more questions tick in yes accordingly.
- Please fill your correspondence & permanent address.
- Then click on save & next.
- After this, enter your qualification details. Choose one subject out of numbers of optional subjects.
- Preference of Service/Post section will be active once result of prelim exam is declared by HPSC.
- Enter your 10th, 12th, graduation qualification details and upload scanned marksheet documents for them.
- Tick marks on the Candidate Declaration button and press on submit button.
- After this, candidate need to duly signed the application form and have to upload scanned copy of it.
- Now pay the application fee with debit card/ debit card/ net banking according to the category.
