Sultanpur National Park (सुल्तानपुर नेशनल पार्क)
- 142.52 hectare area
- Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary became a National Park in 1991.
- Located at Sultanpur village, Farukhnagar, Gurugram district on Gurugram-Jhajjar highway, 15 km from Gurugram, Haryana and 50 km from Delhi in India.
- Every year more than 100 migratory bird species arrive at Sultanpur in search of feeding grounds and to pass the winter.
- Visitors are required to pay a ₹5.00 entry fee and show identity card to visit Sultanpur National Park.
- Resident Birds : common hoopoe, paddyfield pipit, purple sunbird, little cormorant, Indian cormorant, common spoonbill, grey francolin, black francolin, Indian roller, white-throated kingfisher, spotbill, painted stork, black-necked stork, white ibis, black-headed ibis, little egret, great egret, cattle egret, crested lark, red-vented bulbul, rose-ringed parakeet, red-wattled lapwing, shikra, Eurasian collared dove, red-collared dove, laughing dove, spotted owlet, rock pigeon, magpie robin, greater coucal, weaver bird, bank mynah, common mynah and green bee-eater.
- Migratory Birds : Siberian crane, greater flamingo
- There is a room dedicated to the memory of Dr. Salim Ali, which contains his bust, photographs, write ups, and some of his personal effects.
Kalesar National Park (कालेसर नेशनल पार्क)
- Kalesar National Park spread across 13,000 acres was notified on 8 December 2003
- Situated in Yamunanagar, 122 kilometres (76 mi) from Chandigarh.
- Kalesar is a popular destination for leopards, panthers, elephants, red jungle fowl and bird-watching.
- Kalesar National Park is named after the Kalesar Mahadev temple located in this national park.
Wildlife Sanctuaries of Haryana
Government of Haryana maintains the following wildlife Sanctuaries.
Bhindawas (भिंडावास पक्षी विहार)
- Officially notified 411.55 hectares area as Wildlife Sanctuary on 5 July 1986.
- Jhajjar on the Jhajjar-Kasani road and 105 km from Delhi.
- It is an important part of ecological corridor along the route of Sahibi River which traverses from Aravalli hills in Rajasthan to Yamuna via Masani barrage, Matanhail forest, Chhuchhakwas-Godhari, Khaparwas Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhindawas Wildlife Sanctuary.
- Birds :Saxicoloides fulicatus, Small black bird

Khaparwas (खपरवासा वन्यजीव अभयारण्य)
- Situated in Jhajjar about 80 kilometres west of Delhi
- This is an important part of ecological corridor along the route of Sahibi River which traverses from Aravalli hills in Rajasthan to Yamuna via Masani barrage, Matanhail forest, Chhuchhakwas-Godhari, Khaparwas Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhindawas Wildlife Sanctuary.
- It is officially declared this to be a Wildlife Sanctuary on 30 January 1987.
Nahar (नाहर वन्यजीव अभयारण्य)
- Covers 211.35 hectares . It is 5 km away from Kosli on the Kosli-Mahendragarh road.
- नाहर वन्यजीव अभयारण्य हरियाणा के रेवाड़ी जिले में स्थित है।
- It is named Nahar because it comes under Nahar Village (Nahad village).
- It is officially notified as Wildlife Sanctuary on 30 January 1987.
Chhilchhila (छिलछिला वन्यजीव अभयारण्य)
- 28.92 hectares
- It is also known as Seonthi Reserve Forest, is located near Kurukshetra University in Kurukshetra district in the Indian state of Haryana.
- It was declared a Bird Sanctuary in 1986.
- 57 species (33 winter migrants, 2 summer migrants and 22 resident species).
- Tree species : Acacia arabica, Azadirachta indica, Prosopis cineraria, eucalyptus, Ficus benghalensis, Zizyphus jujuba, Prosopis juliflora, Cassia tora, Ficus religiosa, Dalbergia sissoo.
- Small and medium-sized woody plants : Capparis decidua, Calotropis procera, Adhatoda vasica, Alhagi maurorum and Xanthium strumarium.
- Aquatic plant species : Azolla, Cyperus, Hydrilla, and Typha.
- Weeds : Achyranthes aspera, Amaranthus spinosus, Boerhavia diffusa, Chenopodium ambrosioides , Malvastrum, and Parthenium.
Saraswati (सरस्वती वन्य जीव अभयारण्य)
- 4482.85 hectares
- It is also known as Seonsar Forest. Situated in Kaithal.
- Notified as Saraswati Wildlife Sanctuary on 29 July 1988.
- Kalesar National Park, Morni Hills and Saraswati Wildlife Sanctuary are respectively first, second and third largest forest in Haryana.
- There is also a 40 years old Water well made of small lakhauri bricks associated with the Mughal empire era
Abubshahar (अबूबशहर वन्य जीव अभयारण्य)
- 11530.56 hectares
- It is officially notified this as Wildlife Sanctuary on 30 January 1987.
- Situated in Sirsa.
- Wildlife : Saxicoloides Fulicatus, Bandar (Monkey), Langur Monkey, Small black bird
Morni hills (khol-hi-raitan) wildlife sanctuary
- 2226.58 hectares
- It is officially notified this as Wildlife Sanctuary on 10 December 2004.
- Panchkula
- Wild species : Indian leopard, Asiatic elephant, Chital (spotted deer), Sambar deer, Wild boar, Rhesus macaque, Gray langur, Striped hyena, Indian jackal, Jungle cat, Indian gray mongoose, Indian fox and Indian jackal.
Bir Shikargah (बीर शिकारगाह वन्य जीव अभयारण्य)
- 767.30 hectares
- It also houses Vulture Conservation and Breeding Centre, Pinjore.
- It is officially notified this as Wildlife Sanctuary 29 May 1987.
- Panchkula
- Wild species : Indian leopard, Asiatic elephant, Chital (spotted deer), Sambar deer, Wild boar, Rhesus macaque, Gray langur, Striped hyena, Indian jackal, Jungle cat, Indian gray mongoose, Indian fox and Indian jackal.
Asola Bhatti (असोला भाटी वन्यजीव अभयारण्य)
- Covers 3271 hectares
- Surajkund
- The sanctuary gets its name from the contiguous Asola village near Tughlaqabad in the Delhi NCR.
- Established in 1986.
- There are about 193 species of birds reported from Asola along with large number of medicinal plants, more than 80 species of butterflies, hundreds of other insects, mammals such as leopards, nilgai, blue bull, the largest antelope of the country), blackbuck (fastest land animal surviving in the wild in the country), black-naped hare, Indian crested porcupine, small Indian civet, golden jackal and jungle cat.
