Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy NA (II) Examination 2017. UPSC has shortlisted the total 447 number of candidates.

Step 1 : Click on the anyone of above direct link and the PDF will be appear on your device screen.
Step 2 : Press Ctrl+F and enter your roll number or name and click on enter.
Step 3 : If you have found your name and roll number on the PDF, then you are selected for the NDA.
Step 4 : Alternatively goes to the official website of UPSC.
Step 5 : Search for the Link “Final Result – National Defence Academy & Navel Academy (II) 2017”.

Interviews : Interview will be held by Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence from July 2017. The result of medical examination has not still been taken into consideration for preparing these list.
Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 140th Course and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) are going to be held from 2nd January 2019.
Commission will release the marks for the final result after 15 days of the result.
What happens after UPSC NDA Final Result?
NDA II (140th Course)
Cadets who are accepted and successfully complete the program are sent to their respective training academies for 1 year of training before granting of commission: army cadets go to Indian Military Academy(IMA) at Dehradun, Air Force cadets to Air Force Academy(AFA) at Dundigal, Hyderabad, and naval cadets to Indian Naval Academy(INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. A cadet can only decline a commission in case of a serious permanent medical condition caused during the program.
NA II (100th Course)
NDA cadets opting to join the Navy complete 3 years of joint training at NDA, Khadakwasla with the Army and Air Force cadets. They then transfer to INA for the next one year. Upon graduation, cadets are commissioned as sub lieutenants in the navy. Cadets majoring in Naval Architecture have to undergo an additional 6 months of training at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam after graduation. They also have the option to enroll for additional post-graduate specialization in the field at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Why UPSC declare its result too late?
UPSC does not only conduct the NDA exams, but there are many exams that are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). Because there are more number of paper under UPSC, so the UPSC takes more time to declare it.
Is it difficult to qualify for the NDA?
It is difficult but not fully impossible. You have to study hard due to the less selection ratio i.e. 1 in every 1333 person. UPSC conducts more number of steps to reach to the final goal or destination. It is followed like written test, SSB Interview, medical test in a order to get it fully recommended.
How much marks in the NDA Examination is enough for a final selection in the NDA?
Any particular range of marks does not exists to qualify the NDA examination. The written exam as well as SSB rate your mental standard and will not judge you according to the marks of your written exam. If you have 60% marks in both Mathematics and General Ability test in the written exam, then your selection for SSB become almost certain.
