Railway RPF Recruitment 2018 : 9739 Vacancies, Selection Procedure
Indian Ministry of Railways, Government of India has declared a Railway Protection Special Force/ Railway Protection Force (RPSF /RPF) Recruitment 2018 notification to recruit the candidates for the post of Sub-Inspectors & Constable. Ministry of Railway is recruiting the 9739 candidates for this post. If you guys are interested in the Railway job, you need not wait a long. Because Railway Ministry has announced the large number of post for Railway Protection Force (RPF).
You will be able to fill the application form online from 1st June 2018 (10:00 am). Fill the application form quickly so that you can get the nearest exam centre as it is served on the basis of First Come, First Serve. Both Female and Male are eligible to apply for this post.

There are 9739 total number of posts category wise that are distributed as given below.
Total Number of Posts For Sub-Inspector = 1120
Total Number of Posts For Constables = 8619
RPF Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should go through the below eligibility criteria or requirement for the post before applying online.
RPF Educational Qualification & Age Limit
For Sub-Inspector (Executive) & Age Limit
Candidate must be graduate from a recognised university.
For Constable (Executive) & Age Limit
Candidate must passed the 10th standard or metric from a recognised board.
Note : Age Limit will be considered as on 1st July 2018.

RPF Date of Birth Range
Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below: (Both dates inclusive)
RPF Pay Scale or Salary
Sub-Inspector : Candidate will get the Level 6th of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay (starting salary) of Rs. 35,400 and allowance.
Constable : Candidate will get the Level 3rd of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay (starting salary) of Rs. 21,700 and allowance.

RPF Application Fees
See below the feed need to pay for application but will be refunded after appearing for the exam.

Note : Female candidates who have earlier applied in response to Notification No. 01/2016 issued by South Central Railway need not to apply fresh. But they have to fill remaining details.
RPF Selection Process
Below are the process for the selection of candidates to get the Sub-Inspector and Constable job profile in RPF (Railway Protection Force).
A. Computer Based Test (CBT)
Exam Pattern is same for both Sub-Inspector & Constable.

- Paper will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Level of exam for Sub-Inspector : 10th/ matric
- Level of exam for Constable : Graduate Level
- Negative Marking : 1/3rd part of mark for every wrong answer from total score.
- 15 Language eligible in Railway Exam : Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
B. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
It will be qualifying in nature but while passing it also mandatory for the candidates. The required features for the PET are given below.

C. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
For both Constable & Sub Inspector
D. Document Verification
It is mandatory for all the candidates to appear for document verification. Otherwise candidates will not be considered in the final selection, irrespective of their performance in written examination and PET/PMT.
Note : Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Signatures of the candidates on all documents should be identical, either in English or Hindi.
