RRB/RRB Level 1 exam will be held in online mode. Below is the important date regarding Railway RRB details.

RRB/ RRC Group D Level 1 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must know the eligibility criteria for the various RRC/ RRB Group D Level-1 posts.

RRB/ RRC Group D Level 1 Recruitment Education Qualification 2020

Passed High School (10th) Level of examination from any recognized board of India or having ITI Degree from any Recognized Institute of NCVT/ SCVT or having National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT can apply for these posts.

RRB/ RRC Level 1 Recruitment Age Limit 2020

Age Limit will be considered for all Individuals as on 01/07/2020.

Minimum Age – 18 yrs

Maximum Age – 33 yrs

RRB/ RRC Group D Level 1 Recruitment Medical Standards

Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of railway staff. The medical requirements against different medical standards for different categories are outlined below:

Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 without glasses and must pass tests for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic vision etc.
A-3 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 2D).
Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses and Must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Myopic vision etc.
B-1 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D),
Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and Must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic vision etc.
B-2 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D).

How to Apply For RRB/ RRC Group D Level 1 Posts

1. Go to the above link for applying for RRB/ RRC Group D.

2. Click on New Registration link.

3. Enter all your required personal details.

4. Upload your passport sized photograph ( size 35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels, size between 20-50KB, JPEG Format) and signature (Dimensions of 50mm x 20mm or 140 x60 pixels, 10KB-40KB, JPG/JPEG format).

5. Make the fee payment through online/offline mode.

6. Finally submit the form.

7. Alternatively, visit to the official website of RRB.

8. Visit to the Career option and check RRC. Also repeat steps 2 to 6.

RRB/ RRC Level 1 Selection Procedure

Railway Board contains the multiple stages. All these steps are given below.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Document Verification & Medical Test

RRC Group D Level 1 Exam Duration is 120 Minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied scribe.

RRB/ RRC Group D Level 1 PET

Male : Must lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in one minute one chance without putting the weight down. Also must be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.

Female : Must lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. Also must be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

RRC/ RRB Group D Level 1 Document Verification

Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.

There will also be nomalization of marks as for SSC.
