Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the notification for 60 Specialist Officers (SO) post in Grade B (DR). Selection for these SO post will be done through Online/ Offline exam. Marks obtained in Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Interview will be counted in the final selection. RBI SO Nationality

A candidate must be either –

(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

RBI SO Salary/ Pay Scale

  • Finally selected candidates will get a starting basic pay of Rs 35, 150 / – per month.
  • Scale : Rs. 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400
  • Allowance : Dearness (DA), Local (LA), House Rent (HRA), Family allowance and Grade allowance.
  • At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 75,831/-(approx.)
