RRB Group D Latest Exam Date 2020
Railway Board has announced RRB Group D Exam Date which will be conducted tentatively in the month of August or September 2020.

RRB Group D Recruitment Process/ Exam Pattern 2020
RRB Group D Recruitment Process is comprise of following stages to get the final selection in the railway department.
A. Railway Group D Computer Based Test (CBT) – First Stage
- MCQ based online paper
- Total number of questions : 100 Questions
- Total Time Duration for Exam : 90 Mins
- Questions will be of 10th class standard
- Negative Marking : 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR – 40%, OBC – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25% i.e. cut off will not be less than this.
These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.

B. Railway Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Second Stage
If candidates want to work in Railway Department for RRB Group D post, second stage is also mandatory to clear.

C. Railway Group D Document Verification – Third Stage
Candidates will be called for document verification based on the performance of candidates in CBT (Computer Based Test) and subject to qualifying in PET (Physical Efficiency Test). Document to carry by Candidates for verification to get further selection for RRB Group D Various post in last stage.

Expected Weightage : 2-3 questions
Question Types : Calculation-oriented basic percentage
Level : Easy to solve, Scoring, More accuracy, Less time consuming

Question Types : Questions on Simple, Compound Ratios and Direct/Indirect Proportions, Componendo or Dividendo, Fourth Proportional, Third Proportional, Age, Mean Proportional

(4) Simplification
Expected Weightage : 7-10 questions
Question Types : Questions on BODMAS Rule, Fractions, Surds and Indices, Approx Value, Reciprocal of Numbers, Decimals and Surds and Indices etc.

Question Types : Basic Linear Equations in one or two variables, Quadratic Identities are important. Remember all the identities and tricks to solve it.

Expected Weightage : 1-2 questions
Question Types : Questions related to Similarity theorems, Circle chords & tangent theorems, Triangle congruency, Co-ordinate geometry etc. Remember all theorems.

Question Types : Coding by Analogy, Coding and decoding by letter shifting & coding letter of a Word. Could also include Coding and Decoding in fictitious language.

(8) Puzzle
Expected Weightage : 4-5 questions
Question Types : Number based puzzles like 7×5×6×5 = 6575, then 8×7×4×6 = ? . Find the correct equation type questions or quant based questions like on age, speed and distance or Seating arrangement questions (Circular Arrangement, Linear Arrangement), Clock Calendar.

(9) Venn Diagram
Expected Weightage : 2-3 questions
Question Types : Questions based on Venn Diagram, Types of Question : Represent the relation between Student, Teacher and Boys, Syllogisms.
Level : May be time consuming, High Accuracy possible, Easy to solve
(10) Arranging words in Logical order or Dictionary order
Expected Weightage : 1-2 questions
Question Types : Meaningful order of doing a certain task or following a certain rules, Words need to be arranged according to dictionary sequence in ascending or descending order.

(11) Word Formation
Expected Weightage : 0-1 questions
Question Types : Find out the given option words can be formed or not from the given word.

(12) Verbal Reasoning

Question Types : Question from Statements and Conclusions, Statements and Arguments, Course of Action, Statements and Assumptions, Assertion and Reason can also be asked.

(13) Non Verbal Reasoning
Expected Weightage : 1-2 questions
