Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is open the recruitment for the post of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) every year. Posts are Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices) and Hindi Pradhyapak (Central Hindi Training Institute) etc.
SSC JHT Selection Process
Commission conducts the three rounds for finally recruitment of best candidates – (1) Paper I, (2) Paper II, (3) Interview.

SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Exam Marking Scheme
| Each Paper | 200 Marks |
| Negative Marking In Paper 1 | 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer. |

SSC JHT Paper 2 Syllabus – Descriptive Paper
SSC JHT Paper 2 will be having two passages and two essay.
1. Hindi to English (Passage 1st)
2. English to Hindi (Passage 2nd)
3. Essay in Hindi and English
SSC JHT Personality Test/ Interview
Interview or Personality Test is taken in this way that the candidates’s knowledge, interests, various traits, suitability, aptitude etc. are examine among another things through experience, academic qualification, general awareness/knowledge, extra-curricular activities, communication skills and overall personality, depth of knowledge of the subjects studied (10+2 onwards), etc.
i). Every candidates must have to appear in both Paper-1 and Paper-2.
ii). Answer sheet for Paper 2 will be evaluated for only those candidates who have attained minimum qualifying standard in Paper 1 as may be fixed by commission.
iii). Only those aspirants will be called for Personal Interview who have qualified in both Paper-1 and Paper-2.
SSC JHT Paper 1 & 2 – Shift Timing
Paper 1 Timing : 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM
Paper 2 Timing : 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM
