Staff Selection Commission conducts CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam) every year to recruit thousands of candidates for various posts. Major posts in CHSL exam for the recruitment of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Court Clerk & Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant. Registration process for SSC CHSL will start by 18th November and will close by 18 December 2017.
Most of the activities like online test , descriptive test will be held in 2018 after registration completion from 18th Nov – 18th Dec 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:
All candidate who wants to apply for SSC CHSL 2017 must know the eligibility criteria.
Age Limit
- 18-27 years as on 1st Jan 2018(Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000).
Education Qualification
- Must have passed 12th standard
- For Data Entry Operator(DEO), passed 12th standard in Science with Maths
Steps to Fill SSC CHSL Application Form 2017 :
- Go to official website of SSC ( links ssc.nic.in , ssconline.nic.in )
- Find ‘Recruitment of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2017′ given on website. Click on ‘Click Here to Apply ‘ given just below.
- If you are new user, you have to register first.(Fill your details carefully,Modification will not allowed after Submission)
- If you had already applied for any SSC exam before, just give your Registration No. (e.g. 63002200765) and password(e.g. 7523),Your all registered details will appears.
- Choose your Examination centre and education details from drop down in form.
- At last, you can pay the exam fee using online or offline(challan) mode.

General/OBC (male): 100/-
SC/ ST/ Female / PH category: No fee
The payment can be done using net banking, debit cards etc, while offline the application fee can be deposited by SBI challan or CRF stamps that can be bought from any post office.
SSC CHSL 2018 Exam Pattern :
The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III).
