SSC has released the notification of SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 for 1223 tentative vacancies to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of CAPFs, ASI and SI in Delhi Police. Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC CPO SI exam yearly to recruit candidates for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Assistant Sub Inspector post.

SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2018 Vacancies
In Previous year, total 2697 vacancies were released by SSC CPO Recruitment. But this year, only 1223 vacancies are released by the SSC for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Assistant Sub-Inspector posts.

SSC CPO SI 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should first read the eligibility criteria before filling the online application form. If any candidates doesn’t fulfil the eligibility criteria and apply the online application form, then SSC department will discard the form of ineligible candidate.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should passed the Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from the Recognised Board of Education.
Note-I: For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving
License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests.
However, the candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are
eligible for all other posts in CAPFs.
Note-II: Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification as on 01-08-2018 will not be
eligible and need not apply.
Note-III: All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission will be required to produce all
relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/ Provisional Certificate/
Certificate of Graduation as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before
01-08-2018 failing which the candidature of such candidate will be cancelled by the Commission.

SSC CPO Exam Mode
You have this question that which mode will be of SSC CPO Exam online or offline (OMR based). Below is the answer of this question.
SSC CPO Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in online mode. The selection procedure consists of Paper-1, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
SSC CPO 2018 Application Form
No offline mode is applicable for the Application Form. Candidate must submit the application form through online mode only. Candidate should also first aware about the eligibility criteria before filling SSC CPO Application Form 2018. Last date to fill the online application form is 2nd Apr 2018. Candidate should have a valid information like Email id and Phone Number. You will also need to upload the scan copy of documents so keep ready them at application fill up time.
SSC CPO 2018 Application Procedure
Eligible Candidates can fill the online application form through the official website of SSC. Candidate should have to apply before the last date of application. You need to make an online registration and login as well as fill the your correct details.
Steps To Apply For SSC CPO SI 2018 Online Application Form
Step 1 : Click on the above Direct Link to Apply For SSC CPO 2018 SI.
Step 2 : If you are not already registered, then register first. Otherwise, open the View/Edit Registration Part by entering Date of Birth, Registration No , Password and captcha and click on submit button.
Step 3 : Read the instructions and start to fill the application form.
Step 4 : Fill all the details without any mistake and upload asked documents soft copy.
Step 5 : Recheck and submit the application form.
Step 6 : Now you can make the payment directly or by clicking on link ‘ Make Payment’ . Enter your registration Number, Password and catcha. Click on submit and make the online payment by net banking or debit or credit card.
Step 7 : After paying the fee, take a copy of the application form for future reference.
Step 8 : Alternatively, visit the official website of SSC (ssc.nic.in)
Step 9 : Click on the link ‘Apply’ given in the top of website.
Step 10 : Now click on CAPFs tab and click on given link ‘Click Here To Apply’ .

SSC CPO SI 2018 Application Fee
General and OBC candidates will have to pay Rs. 100/- in respect of online applications through SBI Challan /Net banking and any credit and debit cards will be accepted. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee, as per rules/instructions of Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.

- 100 meters race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances 11
For female candidates only
- 100 metres race in 18 seconds
- 800 metres race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
- High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.
Eye Sight
- Minimum distant vision must be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without wearing the glasses.
- Aspirants must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they must have possess high colour vision.
Note: Only those candidates, qualified in PET/PST and found medically fit will be allowed to appear in Paper-2. Physical endurance test will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying nature only.
Medical Examination
- All the candidates who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
- Candidates who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days.
- Decision of Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/ representation against the decision of the ReMedical Board/Review Medical Board will be entertained.
