Good news for the candidates who want to start a career in Border Security Force(BSF). Finally, The Directorate General of Border Security Force has released a notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group “C” in temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force(BSF) From both Female and Male Candidates. Eligible candidates can apply online from 14th May 2019 to 12th June 2019.

BSF Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must check the BSF Eligibility criteria before applying for the posts.
BSF Education Qualification
BSF For Head Constable(Radio Operator)-
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or Equivalent from a Recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and Television or Electronic or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or , Data Preparation and Computer Software or, General Electronic or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
OR
Candidates should have passed Intermediate or 12th standards with Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized Board or University as a regular students with aggregate 60 % marks in Physics , Chemistry or Mathematics.
BSF For Head Constable (Radio Mechanics)-
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or Equivalent from a Recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and Television or Electronic or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or , Data Preparation and Computer Software or, Electrician or, fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System Maintenance or, Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
OR
Pass in Intermediate or 12th standards with Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized Board or University as a regular students with aggregate 60 % marks in Physics , Chemistry or Mathematics.
BSF Age Limit
Below age limit will be considered as on 12/06/2019.

BSF Age Relaxation
Relaxation in age is applicable as per below criteria.
Note 1 : Upper age relaxation for SC, ST & OBC serving BSF personnel and Central Government Employees
i) BSF Serving and willing Constable (GD/Tradesmen) with 3 years regular service as on last date of receipt of online applications are eligible for category wise upper age relaxation as under : –

BSF Medical Standard
(i). Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6 /9 of the both eyes without wearing glasses.
(ii). Must pass high grade Color-Vision test.
(iii). Must not have knock knees, flat feet or squint in eyes.
(iv). Must be in sound mental and bodily health and free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
BSF Recruitment 2019 Selection Process
BSF Written Test Syllabus
It consists of the MCQ which will be asked from the following sections. This exam will be 1st stage OMR based .

BSF Descriptive Written Test
Candidates successfully attended PST , PET & Documentation Stages shall be allowed to appear in this stage
(i). For Head Constable (Radio Operator) – Candidate must qualify descriptive test ( 150 marks covering physics, chemistry , Mathematics , Reasoning & English ) as well as dictation test (50 Marks ) during this stage.
(ii). For Head Constable(Radio Mechanics) – Candidates must have to qualify descriptive test (200 marks covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning & Electronics Subject ) during this stage.
BSF Medical Examination
Candidate who qualify the above test can appear in this phase.

Step 2=>Click on Current Opening & select post.
Step 3=>Click on “New Registration”.
Step 4=> Enter your detail Name, Father’s Name etc.
Step 5=>Log IN by registration and Password.
Step 6=>Enter all other details , Education Qualification.
Step 7=>Upload Signature and Photo
Step 8=>Finally, Submit the application
