Central Railway (RRCCR) Recruitment 2018 : Notification, Eligibility, Vacancy Details
Dear Candidates,
Railway Recruitment Cell Central Railway has released a notification for the recruitment to 2573 posts of Apprentice. for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Central Railway against 2573 slots. Eligible Candidates can submit their application Online Only.

Central Railway Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Conditions
(i) The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training State Council for Vocational Training.
(ii). The Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should have not completed 24 years of age as on 1st July 2018.
(iii). Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC / ST candidates , 3 years in case of OBC candidates. For person with disability, Upper age limit is relaxed by ten years. According to different community, the eligible date of birth shall be as follows :

(iv). The candidates who want to avail the benefit of reservation of SC/ST, mustupload his/her Caste certificate on Central Government format only issued by appropriate authority according to Annexure-I at the time of online application. Similarly, the candidates who want to avail the benefit of reservation of OBC, must upload Caste certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued on or after 1/4/2017 on Central Government format only by appropriate authority as per sample Annexure-II at the time of online application.

Candidates have to choose only one cluster. He / she can give preference for the units falling within the geographical jurisdiction of that cluster only. Details of cluster and units can be checked from the notification section.

Central railway Recruitment 2018 – Application Fees
(i). Application fees (Non-refundable) – `100/-
(ii). Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of online application process
(iii). The payment can be made by using debit card / credit card / Internet Banking / SBI Challan etc. by providing information as asked on the screen.
(iv). No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
Central Railway Recruitment 2018 – Mode of Selection
(i). Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all candidate who apply against the notification. The merits list will be prepared on the basis of percentage marks in matriculation ( with minimum 50% aggregate marks ) + ITI in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done.
(ii). For the purpose of calculation of percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects like best of five etc.
(iii). For the purpose of calculation of percentage of ITI marks, average marks mentioned in consolidated statement of marks for all semesters of the trade applied / marks mentioned in the Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT / SCVT, will only be reckoned.
(iv). In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred. In case the dates of birth are also same, then the candidate who passed matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.

How to Apply Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2018
Step 1: Click on the above link to apply for the Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2018.
Step 2: Click on the Click here to proceed for Online Application.
Step 3: Candidates are required to register on the RRC/CR website provided for filling ONLINE applications and fill up the personal details / BIODATA etc. carefully. A registration number and password is sent to Candidates’s mobile number and on e-mail ID.
Step 4: After Registration, candidates will be required to Log In with Registration Number and Password.
Step 5: Candidates have to choose only one cluster and within that cluster he can give units in order of preference.
Step 6: Candidates are required to upload their colour photograph (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm taken not later than three months from the date of application in colour, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb-70 kb) with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses.
Step 7: Candidates are also required to upload their signature (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm,JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb – 30kb).
Step 8: Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
Step 9: Candidates are required to upload the eligible scanned copy of the following documents.
(i). SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent mark sheet.
(ii). Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
(iii). National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
(iv). Certificate for proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating date of birth).
(v). Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
(vi). Disability certificate, in case of PWD candidate.
