South Indian Bank has released a notification regarding the recruitment for the post 100 Probationary Officer (PO) In Scale-I Cadre on successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance Course. South Indian Bank is a private sector bank headquartered at Thrissur in Kerala. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of South Indian Bank is V. G. Mathew.

South Indian Bank Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Creteria
(i). Candidates should have passed X / SSLC, XII / HSC & graduation with minimum 60 % marks under regular course.
(ii). Age of candidates should be less than 25 years as on 31 December 2017, Candidate should be born earlier than 1 January 1993 and not later than 31 December 1998. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC / ST candidate.
(iii). Those who have scored less than 60 % marks will not be eligible for applying. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not allowed ( for e.g. 59 99 % can not be round off 60 %).
(iv). A candidates should have passed X, XII and graduation under regular course ( full time course) from a Recognised University / Institute recognised by the Govt. of India. Education qualification by mode of distance education is not allowed.
South Indian Bank Recruitment 2018 – Salary
The student will paid a sum of Rs. 3,000 pm during eight months classroom training and an amount of Rs. 15,000 pm during internship training period of 4 months. After training, the candidate will then earn pay scale of Rs. 23700 – Rs. 42020 to Scale-I officers.

South Indian Bank Recruitment 2018 – Selection Procedure
Candidates shall be selected by South Indian Bank through a selection process consisting of
(i). Online Test
(ii). Group Discussion
(iii). Personal Interview
The selection process aims at getting applicants who are likely to succeed at various roles in the Bank. The endeavor is to select people who are bright, have good communication skills (both oral and written), are dedicated, can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.
Online Exam
The structure of online exam will be as follows as
Tentative cities for exam: Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Vijayvawada, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Kozhikode, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolakata, Ahmedabad.
Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI)
i. The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in the Online Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of intake in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Online examination, Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
ii. The Final merit list for selection shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in Online test (objective + descriptive), Group Discussion and Interview.
iii. In case more than one candidate scores the cut off marks (common mark at cut off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order.

Step2. To register application, choose the tab ” Click o Register Button” and enter the details. A Provisional registration number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should down the registration number and password. An E-mail & SMS indicating the provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
Step3. Candidate are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible / entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT.
Step4. Validate your details and Save your application by checking the ” I accept the terms & condition and Rules & regulation” checkbox and clicking on “Save and Continue”.
Step5. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specification given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point .Photo Size should be equal or less than 100-200 KB with 200 dpi.
Step6. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
Step7. Click on the Preview Tab to Preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
Step8. Modify details, if required, and click on ” FINAL SUBMIT” only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
Step9. Click on Payment Tab and proceed the payment.
Step10. Finally, Click on Submit Button.
