SSC CGL TIER 2 Result Cut Off 2019 @ssc.nic.in, Check Cut Off Marks 2019 | How much marks required for ssc cgl tier 2?
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Tier 2 Combined Graduate Level examination result 2019 to shortlist the candidate for Tier-3, descriptive paper. SSC Tier 2 Computer Based Exam 2019 was conducted from 15 to 18 Nov 2020. Aspirants who are not qualified in Tier-II will not be eligible for evaluation of Tier-III descriptive paper and will not be considered for further selection process.
Candidates are shortlisted based on the aggregate performance in Tier-1 & Tier 2 exams for evaluation of their Tier-3 descriptive paper.
Separate cut-offs are fixed for the posts of
- Assistant Audit officer (AAO) List-1
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator-Grade II List-2
- Other posts than Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II List-3
Normalization
As the Tier-II (Paper I & Paper II) Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by the candidates are normalized as per the formula published by the SSC Department on its website on 07.02.2019. Such normalized marks have been used to shortlist candidates for the next stage.
Non-Normalization
Since, Paper III & Paper IV of Tier II were conducted in single shifts, no normalization has been done in respect of Paper III & Paper IV.
Only those candidates are eligible for Tier-3 who have scored minimum marks in each paper of Tier-II as follows:
- UR: 30%,
- OBC/EWS: 25%
- Others: 20%

Final Answer Keys will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on 28 Feb 2021 for a period of one month.
Marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates in Tier-II Examination will be uploaded on the website of the Commission together with the marks of Tier-III examination after declaration of result of Tier-III (Descriptive Paper).
